Our Story

Welcome to our small, family-run farm on the edge of Moel Famau!

We were originally a sheep farm, but since the start of 2024 we've been leaning more seriously into diversification as my dad (Will) attempts to retire and I (Bethan) try to secure the farm's future for our family.

In June 2024 we took a big gamble with our first ever venture into horticulture, by planting up an acre of pumpkins without knowing if they would grow in our hillside microclimate...

Despite the objectively awful growing weather in 2024, our pumpkins grew huge and we opened to the public for the first time in October 2024!

We finished the year on such a high, enjoying reading the wonderful reviews and seeing everyone's photos having fun in the patch.

In 2025 we diversified again, creating a Sunflower Maze and PYO for Summer! We loved seeing both old and new faces enjoying the beautiful Sunflowers and again in October for another cracking Pumpkin Season.

 

So far in 2026: The Pumpkins are growing well and the Sunflower Patch is Open!

After the drought (in Wales?!) we are keeping our fingers crossed for rain to help the pumpkins grow as large as possible, and will keep our socials updated!

We are so excited to open up for our wonderful customers again this year for more fun in the Patch.
